Opening with the tide out

Coast is for rooms that would like to feel like a holiday on a Tuesday. The shop runs along two lines. One is the Mediterranean postcard: Santorini white against that impossible blue, Portofino stacked up its hillside, sun that clearly has no plans. The other is quieter and closer to the water itself — minimal abstract waves in two or three colours, and vintage natural-history charts of shells, coral and reef fish. The abstract waves are the easiest thing here to live with. They go in a bathroom, a bedroom, a narrow hallway, and never insist on being noticed. Everything is printed to order, in the size your wall actually wants. Three below: one coastline, one specimen chart, one wave. Salt in the air, no sand in the car.
